Canon EOS 6D Mark II | Most Awaited DSLR Of 2017

If there is an eye through which we all shutterbugs would like to capture our precious moments then it would be the Canon 6D. Finally, Canon has launched what we all shutterbugs were waiting for since 2012. It is Canon EOS 6D Mark II. This is the successor to Cannon 6D.

The new Canon 6D camera comes with a slew of new features. For starters, Canon EOS 6D Mark II comes with a brand new 26.2 megapixel full frame CMOS sensor. Image processor for Canon EOS 6D Mark II is DIGIC 7 with an ISO range of 100-40000. The image processing unit (IPU) is one of the best in the market. Image processing is super quick and the colors come out accurate with very low noise. There is no over sharpening of the image which would lead to unnecessary noise. There is dual pixel phase detection CMOS autofocus on board. There is also an optical viewfinder with 45 point All Cross-type AF points, a built-in WiFi and a 3.0 inch screen which is fully articulated at 1040K. There is also Bluetooth on board with NFC. The body of the camera is weather sealed, so taking those impressive photos in demanding weather is going to be a breeze.

However, Canon decided to leave a lot of necessary features out and it boggles our mind that why weren’t these important yet simple features included. Starting things off with 4K. There is no 4K recording in Canon EOS 6D Mark II. In our opinion no DSLR of 2017 should come without 4K that too when it is priced highly. The Canon EOS 6D Mark II can only record in FHD (1080p). There is no headphone jack but only a mic output is available. SD cards are as important as any other internals of a camera and this time the Canon EOS 6D Mark II comes with only one slot. The viewfinder coverage is only 98% which should have been 100%. Furthermore, there is no joystick for selecting a focus point. We still don’t know why a brand like Canon would leave out such simple yet necessary features.

The camera is priced at $1999. We really wished Canon would’ve made a complete package for the price it is charging. Nonetheless, having such an amazing picture quality, this camera is still a bargain for many.
