Razer Blade Stealth | E3 2017 Best Gaming Laptop

The name Razer is synonyms with quality PC gaming and this has been true since Razer’s inception. Razer continued its tradition of being one of the best PC gaming brand by announcing the much anticipated updated version of Razer Blade Stealth laptop.

The new laptop is updated with an all new display which is slightly larger than the old one. The chassis is the same as the old 12.5 inches outgoing model but now it offers a brand new and larger 13.3 inch display. The bezels have been cut down and are now 50% smaller than the old ones. Razer will not be discontinuing the 12.5 inch model and will still be selling it. The new model weighs more than the old one at 2.93 pounds versus the old model that weighed 2.84 pounds.

The 13.3 inch model will have a Core i7 processor (7500U) which will be clocked at 2.7GHz along with 16GB of RAM and a moderate 256GB SSD. Screen on the 13.3 inch model is a touchscreen and is new from ground up. This whole package will set you back for $1400. The 12.5 inch model has lower specs and is cheaper. The 12.5 inch Razer stealth comes with a Core i5 processor combined with 128GB SSD. The RAM on both models remains the same.

Razer Stealth 13.3 inch comes with an amazing IGZO screen at 3200×1800 resolution. The viewing angles are also amazing at 178 degrees. The new Stealth comes with a gunmetal grey finish which we fancy a lot. The new color will certainly make Stealth look a lot sexier.

Razer is also offering Razer Stealth with Razer Core which is an external graphics card. That costs $499 at a standalone price. However if you bundle it up with your Razer Blade Stealth then it is going to cost you $399.

Razer Blade Stealth is a really good option for a laptop but a steep price would not be everyone’s cup of tea. There are laptops that are cheaper with beefier specs out there and we certainly think you should go for one of those.
