Galaxy Note 8 Invitation

Samsung is all set to launch its next Note series phone. Samsung has just announced the date of August 23rd for the launch of Galaxy Note 8, so all our tech-savvy friends better mark their calendars. Finally we will all get to see our beloved Note series in flesh again. Tech-savvy people around the world had to wait almost two years to get their hands on a Note series phone. The Note 7 promised a lot of innovation but due to its battery issues, it had to be recalled and then the long wait started for Note fans to get their hands on a Note series phone.

The event will be held in New York City. Samsung’s invitation doesn’t say that they are launching the Galaxy Note 8 but the hint is in the S pen silhouette which clearly takes out the mystery from the invite.

As far as the specs are concerned, the phone will have a screen size of 6.3 inches with our favorite screen tech, which is Super AMOLED. The screen ratio is the same as Galaxy S8 i.e. 18.5:9. This is pretty unusual but it is slowly sinking in the tech industry as the borders of screens are getting thinner by the day. Galaxy Note 8 will feature 2 processors as is the case with most Samsung flagships. One is the Snapdragon 835 and the other is Exynos 8895. This depends on where you buy your phone from. The phone is said to come with a mammoth 6GB RAM inside. There will be dual 16MP cameras at the back and an 8MP camera at the front. The battery would be a decent 3,300mAh. The fingerprint sensor is wisely placed this time around, unlike the Galaxy S8. If the rumors are true, then the fingerprint scanner will be placed between the flash and the camera which will help you avoid smudging the camera while unlocking your phone.

After the Note 7 fiasco, there were rumors of Sammy killing the Galaxy Note series altogether but due to the strong demand of the consumers, Samsung planned on continuing with the Note series as it is by far the most unique smartphone series of current times.
