Note 8 launch is just around the corner and we have jot down the major differences between the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8 Plus for you. Galaxy Note 8 will be a re-launch of Samsung’s iconic phablet. It is said to have really cool new features to make up for Note lovers lost time because of the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. Here are the 5 major differences between Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8 Plus
Galaxy Note 8 will have a 6.32 inches screen whereas Galaxy S8 Plus has a 6.22 inches screen. This is due to the placement of stylus for which the phablet is known for. Obviously the stylus will be a major part of functionality of Galaxy Note 8. The difference doesn’t seem much but overall the Galaxy Note 8’s shape is more square and edgier.
What differentiates the Galaxy Note 8 to other phones is the all practical S-Pen. The S-Pen adds functionality where it is needed the most. We have long been fans of the S-Pen and Sammy’s implementation of it. With every launch of a Note series device, Samsung tends to up its game with the S-Pen as well by adding more functionality and new features. We just have to wait to see what Sammy has cooked up now.
Galaxy Note 8 will be shipping with 6GB of RAM. There will be two modules of 3GB RAM. This will help tackle the S-Pen and OS, while the other 3GB module will be able to handle all the apps and multitasking. This should be more than sufficient for Android OS. This will also make a Samsung phone really fast as ironic as it may sound. Right now that crown belongs to Sony Xperia XZ Premium. We hope Samsung’s efforts will finally be enough to make it faster than any Android out there.
Galaxy S8 Plus takes the crown here. Galaxy S8 Plus has a 3,600mAh battery while the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a 3,300mAh battery. This is due to the stylus. Samsung will be launching a stacked motherboard design next year. We really couldn’t wait any longer for it knowing the big powerhouse will come with a smaller battery this year.
We were saving the best for last. Galaxy Note 8 will comprise of two cameras at the rear. This will make it the first Samsung phone to do so. There are said to be 12MP and 13MP with F1.7/F2.4 aperture respectively. Samsung has been heavily investing in camera tech and with all the announcements going on what the new module is said to offer there are a few we have noted down such as dual fusion, depth application, Super night shot and smart zoom. We are already big fans of Samsung’s camera and Galaxy Note 8 is said to take photography to a whole new level.
