Nokia is trying really hard to win back its customers and make new ones on the way. HMD is playing hardball with the top guns as they seek to steer Nokia in the right direction. Nokia 9 has just leaked and it brings a few of the most innovative changes that have been implemented by any brand in the smartphone industry.
Nokia 9 will have a bezel-less screen which is going to be 5.5 inches in size. The screen is going to be curved from both sides, which is a huge plus as this has only been done by Samsung and isn’t mainstream. This will be the first time that any smartphone brand apart from Samsung will implement a curved screen design. The display will have a ratio of 18:9, which is an industry standard for narrow bezel or bezel-less screen. The resolution will be QHD+ competing with the likes of Samsung.
The camera module has a camera hump at the back and uses the same sensor as Nokia 8. The dimensions of the phone are 140.9 x 72.9 x 7.5mm. The fingerprint reader has been moved to the back of the phone below the camera hump. The phone is going to cost around $800.
Nokia is playing its cards right for now. We are hoping for a good revival for the company that paved way for modern day smartphone.
