Razer has best been known for making computer gaming hardware. This time around they are switching their game a bit and have just announced their latest new Android smartphone. The Razer phone has all the craziness guaranteed to make it an epic phone. Listed below are the main specs of the phone and as you read through them, you will figure out that Razer has done what it does best. The phone has a gaming DNA which Razer is best known for. Here is a rundown of the specs

Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip (the same one that powers flagships like Galaxy S8)

Battery: 4,000mAh battery

RAM: 8GB

Storage: 64GB of internal storage with a microSD slot for expansion

Camera: Dual 12-megapixel cameras on the rear with optical zoom — one wide angle, one telephoto.

8-megapixel selfie camera

Fingerprint sensor: in the power button

Connectivity: 802.11a/b/g/n/AC, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC

Operating system: Android Nougat 7.1.1 at launch, upgradable to Android Oreo (8.0) in the first quarter of 2018.

Display: A 5.72 inch, 120 Hz display

The phone also has dual amplifiers for stereo speakers and THX certified sound. The 3.5mm headphone jack is missing though, which is the only disappointment. The sound is expected to be one of the best ever for a phone but we have yet to find out after rigorous testing of the phone.

The refresh rate of the display might be able to drain the huge battery though but we expect that the phone has been fine-tuned accordingly to accommodate the gaming prowess.

Razer is also working with game developers on themes for the phone. Razer smartphone runs the clean version of Android with Nova Prime launcher preinstalled to give the users customization options.

The phone is priced at $699 and will be available on November 17th.
